35th Annual International
Battery Seminar & Exhibit
March 26-29, 2018 | Fort Lauderdale, FL
Xilectric is presenting its new Li-ion additive technology at
the International Battery Seminar & Exhibit.
Be sure to listen to our presentation
on Tuesday morning in the Automotive
Power Applications track. We are presenting immediately following Mercedes-Benz:
of a New Class of Additives to Improve Li-ion Abuse Tolerance Steven Weiss, PhD,
Founder, Xilectric Inc.
The emergence of ride sharing and autonomous vehicles will require
batteries with improved durability. In this talk, Xilectric will discuss
its newly-developed technology aimed at improving Lithium-Ion batteries'
cycle lifetime and abuse tolerance. Xilectric's work stems from the
development of a new acidity framework and its vision of what it means to
buffer Lithium-Ion electrolytes from changes in acidity. This technology
helps with high voltage, high temperature, and fast charge and has been
shown to achieve a greater than 2.5 times battery lifetime increase for a
variety of electrolyte and cathode formulations.
Founded in 1983, the International
Battery Seminar & Exhibit has established itself as the
premier event showcasing the state of the art of worldwide energy storage
technology developments for consumer, automotive, military, and industrial
applications. Key thought leaders will assemble to not only provide broad
perspectives, but also informed insights into significant advances in
materials, product development, manufacturing, and application for all
battery systems and enabling technologies. As the longest-running annual
battery industry event in the world, this meeting has always been the
preferred venue to announce significant developments, new products, and
showcase the most advanced battery technology. In fact, Sony chose the 1991
International Battery Seminar as the platform to first announce its
